This page, dedicated to Horacio Banegas, is the result of a deep friendship which joins my family with an excepcional humang being as Horacio is.
When I began making a personal web page, the first thing that came to my mind was to spread his work, as I consider him to be, within the folk musical spectrum of the Argentina, one of the sheerer referents to the local poetry together with an innovative and in force musical message, and very close to the argentine youth.
After many months of preparing this site, I hope to be able, through these pages, to fulfil my goal of emphasize some aspects of this musician. Some of his lyrics are enough proof of its contents qualities, his social commitment and, above all, the roots of his origin, the province of Santiago del Estero and its influence on all of its prodigal sons.
This is my little contribution in order to let the music of such a charismatic and sensitive artist reach farther locations of this planet, and let so many other persons enjoy the poetry, magic and emotion which characterize him. Because of all this:
